Celta Vigo vs Krasnodar
|One of the most fascinating knockout
round begins Thursday night at
Balaidos: Celta Vigo and Krasnodar have
all it takes to dream Cardiff. We retrace the
path of international teams of Berizzo and
former Foggia Shalimov.
|After a complicated group stage (second place at -5 dall’Ajax and 2 points more of Standard Liege), Celta Vigo has placed a firm: winning 2-0 in Ukraine, the eleventh Spaniard eliminated (with a bit of luck) Shakhtar Donetsk or one of the favorites for the final success.
Before you cross over the Turks of Fenerbahce, the Krasnodar to Salzburg he had blown the place of honor in the group won by Schalke 04.
Only tenth in the Liga, Celta Vigo Saturday lost 5-0 against Barcelona but has a good home with Russian tradition: 2-2-0.
Fresh from 2-2 with Spartak Moscow (which houses atop the standings), the Krasnodar is fourth in the championship.
To us the Krasnodar very much like, but Celta is one of our favorite teams: Iago Aspas and choose mates.
Why safe? Why neroverdi are struggling with the expert’s disqualification Kaleshin defender and strong midfielder Kaboré Burkina Faso.

EUROPE: Europa League
Nurnberg vs Braunschweig
|Nurnberg managed to reply well after their
defeat at home in the first part after the
re-start of the league, as the team walked
away with a 3:2 defeat on the road against
Heidenheim last weekend in one of the
most interesting matches
in 2. Bundesliga week ago.
|Guests took a better start into the match and took the lead in fourth minute via Sabiri already, while the hosts replied towards the end of the halftime via Kleidenst. It was a very open game where the players of Heidenheim did more in attack and looked more threatening, while the guests played great using counters and managed to take the 3:1 lead via Kammerbauer and Sabiri again in the second halftime, while the hosts only managed to reduce the deficit in second minute of additional time via Verhoek.
Nurnberg is now at ninth position having twenty-eight points which is seven less than third placed Braunschweig and only a victory is an option here. Right defender and team captain Miso Brecko (17/0) is injured for this one.Braunschweig, on the other side, didn’t enter the second part of the season in a proper way, as the team firstly took only a point on the road against Wurzburger Kickers, but then suffered 1:2 defeat in front of own fans against St Pauli last weekend making probably the biggest surprise of the round.
Guests took a great start into the match with a goal from Sobiech in fourth minute, but also playing generally good on counter attacks and doubled up the lead in 72nd minute with a goal from Sahin. Players of Braunschweig had more of the ball possession, but weren’t so concrete in attack only being able to reduce the deficit in sixth minute of additional time via Suleiman. The team is now at third position at the table, having three points less than leaders from Stuttgart, while they also have three more than fourth placed Union Berlin.
Visitors won’t be able to count at left back Ken Reichel (18/2) and midfielders Patrick Schonfeld (17/0) and Nik Omladic (19/2).
Nurnberg remains slight favorite for this one, especially since the visiting team misses few important players. However, my first choice for this one will be an open game with plenty of goals. Chances for overs are way bigger than 50% in my eyes.

GERMANY: 2. Bundesliga
Eibar vs Atletico Madrid
|West Ham are looking to home comforts to
try and progress to the next stage of the
competition as their primary way of
progressing to Europe for next season,
as they have already been knocked out
of the League Cup and are sitting deep
in 13th in the table. West Ham were
battling with 10 men for 75 minutes in
their last game against Manchester United
losing 2-0 after keeping the game
extremely tight for 63 minutes with
that man short.
|They are already in 6th spot and know that a win here will help push them to 4th spot temporarily till other games take place. Atletico have to rely strongly against Griezmann and Gameiro to score for them and both of them have failed to net over the last 5 games. Madrid have a strong record against Eibar winning 4 straight games against them over the last 2 years and will aim to build on that strong form.
Eibar come into the La Liga on the back of no league wins in 3 straight games in the trot. They have beaten better opposition like Osasuna and Gijon on the Copa del Rey. Eibar have done decently well in their run of form that has seen them come to within 3 points of Atletico; but loses to sides like Bilbao, Las Palmas, Osasuna, Malaga and Deportivo; tells you there is a decent chance for Atletico Madrid to take this game away from them by just a narrow scoreline. Eibar will be welcoming a determined Atletico side who need to win, and Eibar will also like their home comforts expecting at least a point after losing just 1 game at home this campaign.
Atletico’s strong win against Las Palmas away from home, has bought in a lot of confidence to the side, and Atletico know that a loss here will all but end their chances of getting back in the title hunt as the points difference will extend to 12 points; so I am backing them to come out firing in this encounter.

Everton vs Arsenal
|Everton have been in a terrible run of form
that has seen them fail to find a victories
with just 1 win in their last 10 games; which
is a horrible record. The only thing going for
Everton in this period is that they have
found the back of the net in 7 out of those
10 games. Their struggles are clear to be
seen on an extremely poor defense that
has been chopping and changing and
slower Mori and Williams at the back for
their last 3-2 loss against Watford,
despite taking the early lead.
|Everton have seen Lukaku get back to form with 2 goals on the weekend and he will be looking forward to an opportunity to help lead his team to some goals as they have in 100% of their home games. They will be looking at the Arsenal defense that should have a slower Gabriel, a struggling Koscileny and an under-performing Cech who have now concede goals in 9 straight games.
Arsenal have been riding a good spell of form from their midfielder and attacking midfield players, that they haven’t started a striker for a while now. Alexis Sanchez plays as the furthest forward with Oxlade Chamberlain, Ozil and Walcott sitting behind him to create opportunities and even create goals. Arsenal will also be looking forward to this game against Everton, a match up which allows them to go 1st in the league temporarily and a side home they have beaten in their last 4 meetings. Arsenal will double pivot midfield of Xhaka and Coquelin due to injuries, but they would like to have more creativity in that midfield position.
This matchup between the 2 sides have always seen goals flowing as it has in 5 out of their last 7 games. I am backing over 2.5 goals in this encounter.

ENGLAND: Premier League
Atalanta vs Roma
|Atalanta is really enjoying start of the
new season, especially in last few weeks
as the team comes from fourth consecutive
victory now, being also undefeated in last
seven rounds with six victories and just
one draw away to Fiorentina. In between,
they had nice victories over Napoli and
Inter for example, which put them now at
fifth position at the table with just four
points less than today’s
opponents from Rome.
|In the most recent game, the team easily outplayed and won convincingly on the road against Sassuolo 3:0 before the international break. It was yet another close to briliant performance from team from Bergamo, as they took the double lead already after twenty-four minutes of play, with goals from Gomez and Caldara, making their game much more easier. Sassuolo tried and had a bit more of the ball possession, but their ball movement wasn’t impressive at all, while the guests managed to score the third in 43rd minute via Conti and seal the victory without many problems experienced in the second halftime. Even though they are now awaiting Roma, the team is fired up to continue with their good performances and results and continue being in the upper part of the table.
Defender Andrea Conti (10/1) is now suspended, while injured with thigh problems are defenders Abdoulay Konko (8/0) and Boukary Drame (8/0). Team welcomes back couple of players for this one.Roma, on the other side, comes from a convincing victory taken in front of own fans against Bologna two weeks ago, as the team easily outplayed the opponent with a 3:0 result. Salah brought them into the lead in thirteenth minute, while Bologna also tried and had some decent chances, but the home team looked way more concrete with the ball and more important, more efficient.
Salah scored second in 62nd and it was obvious that Roma will be the one to get all three points, while the Egyptian scored his hat-trick in 71st minute to seal their victory after a goalless draw away to Empoli week earlier. Roma is now undefeated in last six matches in Serie A, having five victories and a draw, as the team continues to be at the second position and need to get a victory here in order to stay four points behind leaders from Juventus.
Doubtful for this game is forward Francesco Totti (6/2) with a hip problem, while injured remain defenders Thomas Vermaelen (2/0), Emerson (6/0), midfielders Alessandro Florenzi (9/0) and Leandro Paredes (10/1).
Atalanta have seen over 2.5 goals in 8 of their last 9 home matches against Roma.
Both teams are doing more than fine job at the moment, with Atalanta beating all the odds for now. It means that the home team can play a bit more relaxed here and should be able to exploit such situation with another positive performance. Roma is surely a better team, but will most likely have hell of a task here in order to get the three pointer and I expect both teams to be very dangerous, but also concrete in front of opponents’ goal.

ITALY: Serie A
Italy vs Germany
|In this friendly game Italy will host
Germany at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.Italy is coming from a 4:0 win again
Lichtenstein, even though it could have
easily been more. Since Ventura took
them over, Italy are looking more
offensively dangerous than before,
scoring quite a number of goals and
being a constant threat for the opoonents.
|While on the other hand they have conceded in all four games except the last one since the Euros. In the four qualification games they have a goal difference of 11:4, which is mostly owed to fantastic form of their strikers Belotti and Immobile. Ventura will be happy with that, since he proved that without Pelle (who got expelled after the incident in the game against Spain) and Balotelli, Italy looks very good in attack with two in-form strikers.
Germany is going into this game with great qualifiers` record of four wins with astonishing goal difference 16:0, while also keeping clean sheet in a friendly win against Finland in September. On friday they`ve beaten San Marino 8:0, with Gnabry scoring a hat-trick and Kevin Volland managing to grab his first international goal. In that game they proved to be as dangerous as ever even without the likes of Ozil, Boateng and Kroos.
This is just a friendly game, but when you are an Italy player playing against Germany and vice versa, you don`t want to lose, and it`s hard not to get motivated. Italy will not want to lose in front of their fans, and with a good scoring record and in-form attackers, they should be able to break Germany`s streak of 5 games without conceding. On the other side, motivated Germany players who will be eager to prove themselves in the national jersey for future call-ups, shouldn`t have too much trouble scoring against not-so-solid Italy defense. We will maybe even see more than couple of goals, but I will go here with a safer bet in my eyes, and that is for both teams to score.

Netherlands vs Belgium
|In this friendly matchup Netherlands will
host Belgium at Amsterdam Arena.Netherlands is third in their
qualifications group with 4 point out of
3 matches. They are still recovering
following their unsuccessful qualifications
for Euro 2016, and are still trying to find
continuity. Their biggest problem is that
their players don`t play in the biggest
clubs like Netherlands` players traditionally
did before, and even those that do are
mostly fringle players within their teams.
|Depay is hardly getting any minutes and Janssen is finding it hard in Tottenham, with Son who is not real striker replacing Kane instead of him. They will be without eternally injured Strootman, while Robben will return. Also Depay is called up despite his modest playing time this season.
Belgium is different story. They are leading their group with 9 points and goal difference of 13:0, although it has to be said that their opponents were Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Gibraltar, respectively. Still, they are looking good and as dangerous as the 4th ranked team in the world should. After Roberto Martinez took them over, they seem to have found new belief and they are coming into this game high on confidence. Toby Alderweireld will not be available due to injury but their captain Kompany will return. Besides Alderweireld they will be in the best lineup.
This is not just any friendly game, this is the Low Countries derby – a more than a century long derby which saw these two play over 125 official games. Only Austria – Hungary and Argentina – Uruguay have played more matches between each other. Last meeting between these two was friendly match in 2012. which finished 4:2 for the hosting Belgium. Both teams will want to win here and will treat this game as if it is being played for points. Momentum is surely on the Belgium side, and they are capable of winning against anyone, especially having one of the best attackers in the world. Therefore they should have no problems scoring against Netherlands` defense which saw them conceding a goal in all three qualification matches, maybe even multiple times. On the other hand Netherlands will surely try not to lose at home, and as it`s going to be really hard for them not to concede, they will have to try and score. Both teams will play their qualification games on November the 13th. Netherlands will visit Luxemburg, while Belgium will host Estonia. Both are going to be huge favourites and should win easily, which puts emphasis on this game even more, as players will have no reason to keep themselves fresh for the Sunday. It looks like this game could have more significance for both teams than their qualifiying games and level of motivation will be a lot higher than it usually is in friendlies. Therefore I see an entertaining game with goals coming from both sides in a quite open match.

Chelsea vs Man. United
|Derby match in England today. I think
United can take positive result
from this match.Chelsea managed to win their last
2 domestic league matches. But before
them they lost against Liverpool and
Arsenal and it seems they are struggling
this season against top teams. Murhino
is great tactical manager. He showed
that in last match against LIverpool.
|United was oriented on defense in that match. In 90 minutes they had only 1 chance to score goal. But Liverpool who is playing great this season was not able to find way to United net as well. I expect something like that today too. Murihno will try to keep his net safe so I think United can get positive result from this match.|

ENGLAND: Premier League
Peterborough vs MK Dons
|Peterborough is winless in last six
rounds in Legue One and the team
would really benefit from a victory,
even if it’s in Checkatrade Trophy
competition. They didn’t look that
desperate on the field, since the
team has five draws and only one
defeat in those six, however without
getting a victory since 27th August.
In the most recent game, they took
a point in a 1:1 draw against Southend,
in a game where they might have
been favorites prior to it.
|The game itself was quite a defensive and boring one, with neither of the teams wanting to risk a lot, while their hosts took the lead in 78th minute with a goal from Wordsworth, but the visitors responded, luckily for them, in second minute of additional time via Maddison. After this point taken, the team remains in the middle of the table with three victories, five draws and three defeats, being just two points above the relegation zone. It’s too little for a team that looked like decent favorite to get into the play-off zone, but on the other side, they are still only three points below sixth placed Port Vale.
As for Checkatrade trophy, Peterborough got completely outplayed in the first round losing to U23 team of Norwich with 6:1 result on the road. Midfielder Bradden Inman is injured from the start of the season.MK Dons comes from a 2:0 victory away from home against Oldham last weekend, continuing their good run away from home as the side has three undefeated matches streak recently. They looked superior to their opponents, getting the victory maybe even more easy than what was expected, thanks to goals from Reeves in 36th and Agard in 55th minute.
After this three pointer taken, MK Dons is now very close to the play-off positions, being at ninth position with two points below sixth placed Port Vale. As for Checkatrade Trophy, they got two points in the first round, winning over Barnet at home after penalties (2:2 result in the ninety minutes game).
Their manager already announced he will rest quite a few players for this match, saying that the next players might not get involved today: left full back Dean Lewington (11/0), central midfielder Darren Potter (10/0), goalkeeper David Martin (11/0), forward Ryan Colclough (6/4) and striker Nicky Maynard (10/0). Moreover, they won’t be able to count at injured right defender George Baldock (11/0), central defender Scott Wootton (1/1), forwards Daniel Powell (7/1), Chuks Aneke (0/0) and offensive midfielder George Williams (7/0).
MK Dons’ manager was quite clear that he is not very interesting into tonight’s game, saying that he is only concentration on his team’s Sunday’s clash. Peterborough won over them back in August 2:0 on the road, and even though the home team will rotate the squad for sure, normal logic says that the visitors will rotate more and under such circumstances, I definitely see the home team as favorites here. Bigger than what the current odds suggest.

Union Berlin vs St. Pauli
|Union Berlin is in very good form at
this moment as the team has right
now 3 wins in a row in the league
and thanks to those wins they are
currently sitting in the top half of the
league table at this moment, this
while in their two games played at
home so far this season both of them
ended up with 4 goals scored, as
they won with 4-0 in their last game
at home against Karlsruher, and they
also drew this season with 2-2 at home
against the team of Dynamo Dresden
|they usually score a lot of goals when playing at home, but here in this game they are going to be playing against a strong St.Pauli side which can score goals here in this game themselves, and last season when St. Pauli came and played here at this stadium the game was one of the best last season had to offer in this league level in Germany, as it ended up in a 3-3 draw in the end, with both teams having a lot of scoring chances in that game there and scoring 3 goals both in the end, so my bet here in this game is going to be on over here in this game, and the odds are dropping for the over bets here in this game.|

Man City vs Gladbach
|I don’t see Manchester City losing
points in the opening match, but this
will be an entertaining game where
both sides should find a way to score.
The hosts have shown their quality
this season, as they’ve won all
6 games in all competitions,
crowning it with the win over
Manchester United in the last
round of Premier league.
They want way more from this
season, and we should expect
from them to push the
guests and go forward.
|Although they have a tremendous attacking power, with Aguero, de Bruyne and the others, they do allow goals, as they’ve done that in all 4 Premier league matches, and therefore I think the German side has some serious chances for finding their way to the hosts’ net. Borussia M’gladbach are one very offensive side, as they’ve scored 15 goals in 6 games this season. However, their last game against Freiburg showed they can easily allow goals, and against a side like Manchester City, we simply have to expect goals in their net. They still miss Doucoure, while Herrmann is the only new absentee, with all the other players fit and ready to give their best.
Their previous duel here ended 4:2 for the hosts in the last season’s group stage, while the game in Germany ended 2:1, also in the favor of Manchester. This obviously shows their duels are very exciting, but that Germans cannot do more than score 1 or 2 goals. No matter how many they score here, the hosts will score more and grab all 3 points. Good luck!

EUROPE: Champions League
Monaco vs Guingamp
|France league 1 start tomorrow.
We will have two games. first one
Bastia – PSG and half hour later
Monaco – Guingamp.First of all, I know
home side have Champions league
play – off match next week. But, 5 days
till that game, and I read that they will
go with full force in this one. Against
Fenerbahce they show all. Some
problems back in defense, also good
strikers as well, but for me that
impression about lots conceded goals
in pre – season leave the biggest mark.
|Monaco conceded lots of goals. First on Swiss tourney, at 3 games they conceded 3 goals, even against lower division sides like Kriens. Lost from Zenit 3-1, won Sporting 4-1 than last game they played lost from Napoli 5-0. I know they change team a lot of, several players was at different position, but defense wont work like they should, at all IMO.
Guingamp is team you dont know with at all. They can make surprise, can play excellent football, but also can be very bad. So their results in pre – season wasnt good at all. Lost from Brest 2-1, Angers SCO 4-3, won Rennais 2-1 but all games was over 2.5 goals and all was goal – goal.
When you add the fact that last season these two played games with this results,
AS Monaco 3-2 Guingamp
Guingamp 3-3 AS Monaco
I cant bet anything else here than goals here.
Good luck !!!

Barcelona vs Celtic Glasgow
|This is first match for Barcelona in new
season and although it is basically a
friendly game, it’s actually held within
International Champions Cup
tournament, so they will be motivated
to win it. On the other hand, season
for Celtic has already started with
Champions League qualifications,
which they played not so well and
even have lost against Lincoln Red
Imps, a team from Gibraltar.
|Few days ago they played 1-1 against Astana as guest and they play rematch next Wednesday in Scotland, so they might rest some players for that, having in mid that they have a lot of problems with injuries. On the other hand, Barcelona announced that their new players Lucas Digne and Samuel Umtiti, alongside senior players like Messi, Luis Suarez, Arda Turan and Mascherano have all been included in the squad to the International Champions Cup tournament, so we will probably see some Barcelona first team players in this match.
Barcelona and Celtic have some mutual matches history: ten games in all competitions since 11th May 2004 to December 11, 2013. Barcelona won in six, scored 17 and allowed just 9 goals against Celtic. Last match they play was in December 2013 when Barcelona won with 6-1.
Barcelona players are rested, fresh and eager to play, so it is highly probable that we will see game with lots of goals, maybe not on both sides but in Celtic net for sure, as well as beautiful Barcelona’s gameplay that we got used to watch.

Troyes vs Sochaux
|Troyes – Sochaux
Two disappointing teams last season will
|They lost some important players who help them to promote 2 years ago: Corentin Jean, y Court, J. Pi also Camus and Dabo. Some interesting name came in but for sure their value is under the value of the players left Troyes: Cordoval, Obiang, Dingome, GK Samassa, Caceres, Paye most of them from Ligue 2 teams. With a new coach Garcia, I think Troyes will have an average season and will be far away of top 3.
Sochaux somehow escaped from relegation in National finishing 3 points above Evian, taking 6 points in last 2 games but against team without any motivation: Ajaccio and Clermont (let’s see what will happen in direct games this season). Obvious after this disastrous campaign a lot of players left the team; let’s name a part of them who played quite a lot: Faussurier, TokoEkambi, Cisse, Caceres (at Troyes ), Guerbert. Came at Sochaux: striker Andriatsima, Alphonse and Ogrier both from Bourg Peronnas, Dilo, Karanovic and Honorat which don’t say me a lot yet. Under same coach Cartier I don’t expect too much from this new Sochaux – perhaps an average performance this season.
Well, will suffer Troyes for same syndrome Sochaux, Evian, Ajaccio and Valenciennes suffered in previous seasons? Or will bounce back in Ligue 1 only after a season? Too many changings, a not good atmosphere so perhaps they will have problems this season. With a very old captain – Nivet- can expect too much pace and danger. On the other side, as I said also in last season, Sochaux have a good squad on paper. But they failed big last season. Would they have a different approach this season? Too earlier to say. Let’s try a draw here. gl
