Nurnberg vs Braunschweig
|Nurnberg managed to reply well after their
defeat at home in the first part after the
re-start of the league, as the team walked
away with a 3:2 defeat on the road against
Heidenheim last weekend in one of the
most interesting matches
in 2. Bundesliga week ago.
|Guests took a better start into the match and took the lead in fourth minute via Sabiri already, while the hosts replied towards the end of the halftime via Kleidenst. It was a very open game where the players of Heidenheim did more in attack and looked more threatening, while the guests played great using counters and managed to take the 3:1 lead via Kammerbauer and Sabiri again in the second halftime, while the hosts only managed to reduce the deficit in second minute of additional time via Verhoek.
Nurnberg is now at ninth position having twenty-eight points which is seven less than third placed Braunschweig and only a victory is an option here. Right defender and team captain Miso Brecko (17/0) is injured for this one.Braunschweig, on the other side, didn’t enter the second part of the season in a proper way, as the team firstly took only a point on the road against Wurzburger Kickers, but then suffered 1:2 defeat in front of own fans against St Pauli last weekend making probably the biggest surprise of the round.
Guests took a great start into the match with a goal from Sobiech in fourth minute, but also playing generally good on counter attacks and doubled up the lead in 72nd minute with a goal from Sahin. Players of Braunschweig had more of the ball possession, but weren’t so concrete in attack only being able to reduce the deficit in sixth minute of additional time via Suleiman. The team is now at third position at the table, having three points less than leaders from Stuttgart, while they also have three more than fourth placed Union Berlin.
Visitors won’t be able to count at left back Ken Reichel (18/2) and midfielders Patrick Schonfeld (17/0) and Nik Omladic (19/2).
Nurnberg remains slight favorite for this one, especially since the visiting team misses few important players. However, my first choice for this one will be an open game with plenty of goals. Chances for overs are way bigger than 50% in my eyes.

GERMANY: 2. Bundesliga
Eibar vs Atletico Madrid
|West Ham are looking to home comforts to
try and progress to the next stage of the
competition as their primary way of
progressing to Europe for next season,
as they have already been knocked out
of the League Cup and are sitting deep
in 13th in the table. West Ham were
battling with 10 men for 75 minutes in
their last game against Manchester United
losing 2-0 after keeping the game
extremely tight for 63 minutes with
that man short.
|They are already in 6th spot and know that a win here will help push them to 4th spot temporarily till other games take place. Atletico have to rely strongly against Griezmann and Gameiro to score for them and both of them have failed to net over the last 5 games. Madrid have a strong record against Eibar winning 4 straight games against them over the last 2 years and will aim to build on that strong form.
Eibar come into the La Liga on the back of no league wins in 3 straight games in the trot. They have beaten better opposition like Osasuna and Gijon on the Copa del Rey. Eibar have done decently well in their run of form that has seen them come to within 3 points of Atletico; but loses to sides like Bilbao, Las Palmas, Osasuna, Malaga and Deportivo; tells you there is a decent chance for Atletico Madrid to take this game away from them by just a narrow scoreline. Eibar will be welcoming a determined Atletico side who need to win, and Eibar will also like their home comforts expecting at least a point after losing just 1 game at home this campaign.
Atletico’s strong win against Las Palmas away from home, has bought in a lot of confidence to the side, and Atletico know that a loss here will all but end their chances of getting back in the title hunt as the points difference will extend to 12 points; so I am backing them to come out firing in this encounter.

Everton vs Arsenal
|Everton have been in a terrible run of form
that has seen them fail to find a victories
with just 1 win in their last 10 games; which
is a horrible record. The only thing going for
Everton in this period is that they have
found the back of the net in 7 out of those
10 games. Their struggles are clear to be
seen on an extremely poor defense that
has been chopping and changing and
slower Mori and Williams at the back for
their last 3-2 loss against Watford,
despite taking the early lead.
|Everton have seen Lukaku get back to form with 2 goals on the weekend and he will be looking forward to an opportunity to help lead his team to some goals as they have in 100% of their home games. They will be looking at the Arsenal defense that should have a slower Gabriel, a struggling Koscileny and an under-performing Cech who have now concede goals in 9 straight games.
Arsenal have been riding a good spell of form from their midfielder and attacking midfield players, that they haven’t started a striker for a while now. Alexis Sanchez plays as the furthest forward with Oxlade Chamberlain, Ozil and Walcott sitting behind him to create opportunities and even create goals. Arsenal will also be looking forward to this game against Everton, a match up which allows them to go 1st in the league temporarily and a side home they have beaten in their last 4 meetings. Arsenal will double pivot midfield of Xhaka and Coquelin due to injuries, but they would like to have more creativity in that midfield position.
This matchup between the 2 sides have always seen goals flowing as it has in 5 out of their last 7 games. I am backing over 2.5 goals in this encounter.

ENGLAND: Premier League
Atalanta vs Roma
|Atalanta is really enjoying start of the
new season, especially in last few weeks
as the team comes from fourth consecutive
victory now, being also undefeated in last
seven rounds with six victories and just
one draw away to Fiorentina. In between,
they had nice victories over Napoli and
Inter for example, which put them now at
fifth position at the table with just four
points less than today’s
opponents from Rome.
|In the most recent game, the team easily outplayed and won convincingly on the road against Sassuolo 3:0 before the international break. It was yet another close to briliant performance from team from Bergamo, as they took the double lead already after twenty-four minutes of play, with goals from Gomez and Caldara, making their game much more easier. Sassuolo tried and had a bit more of the ball possession, but their ball movement wasn’t impressive at all, while the guests managed to score the third in 43rd minute via Conti and seal the victory without many problems experienced in the second halftime. Even though they are now awaiting Roma, the team is fired up to continue with their good performances and results and continue being in the upper part of the table.
Defender Andrea Conti (10/1) is now suspended, while injured with thigh problems are defenders Abdoulay Konko (8/0) and Boukary Drame (8/0). Team welcomes back couple of players for this one.Roma, on the other side, comes from a convincing victory taken in front of own fans against Bologna two weeks ago, as the team easily outplayed the opponent with a 3:0 result. Salah brought them into the lead in thirteenth minute, while Bologna also tried and had some decent chances, but the home team looked way more concrete with the ball and more important, more efficient.
Salah scored second in 62nd and it was obvious that Roma will be the one to get all three points, while the Egyptian scored his hat-trick in 71st minute to seal their victory after a goalless draw away to Empoli week earlier. Roma is now undefeated in last six matches in Serie A, having five victories and a draw, as the team continues to be at the second position and need to get a victory here in order to stay four points behind leaders from Juventus.
Doubtful for this game is forward Francesco Totti (6/2) with a hip problem, while injured remain defenders Thomas Vermaelen (2/0), Emerson (6/0), midfielders Alessandro Florenzi (9/0) and Leandro Paredes (10/1).
Atalanta have seen over 2.5 goals in 8 of their last 9 home matches against Roma.
Both teams are doing more than fine job at the moment, with Atalanta beating all the odds for now. It means that the home team can play a bit more relaxed here and should be able to exploit such situation with another positive performance. Roma is surely a better team, but will most likely have hell of a task here in order to get the three pointer and I expect both teams to be very dangerous, but also concrete in front of opponents’ goal.
